the devil yes or no reversed

Alright, so, the Devil card, huh? Flipped over, they say it’s a “no.” But let me tell ya, it ain’t always that simple. Life ain’t just yes or no, like pickin’ apples. Sometimes it’s more like, “well, maybe if the sun shines just right…”

This Devil card, they say it’s bad. Shadows and addictions and whatnot. Like gettin’ stuck in the mud. Can’t move, can’t see straight. But listen, sometimes you gotta get dirty to clean up, ya know? Like gettin’ your hands in the dirt to plant somethin’ good. So maybe this “no” ain’t just shut the door, maybe it’s sayin’, “hold on a sec, what’s really goin’ on here?”

They say upright is yes, flipped is no. Like that Death card. Upright, it’s a yes, even though it’s Death! Go figure. Flipped, it’s a no. See? It’s confusin’! Like tryin’ to make sense of that story, the one with the people who don’t die. Supposed to be perfect, right? No sick folks, no poor folks. But then, what’s the point of livin’ if you can’t, ya know, live?

  • They say this Devil card is about bein’ stuck. Like in that story, everyone’s stuck just bein’ the same forever. No changes. Sounds kinda lonely, doesn’t it?
  • And then they talk about the Star card. Upright is yes, flipped is no. But the Star, that’s hope, right? Like a wish you make at night. Even if it’s flipped, maybe it’s just sayin’ “not yet.” Maybe you gotta work a little harder for that wish to come true.

So, this Devil, flipped over, this “no”… maybe it ain’t the end of the road. Maybe it’s just a detour. Maybe it’s sayin’, “hey, you’re headin’ in the wrong direction.” Or maybe it’s sayin’, “you gotta let go of somethin’ before you can move forward.” Like that story, they had to let go of life to have…well, whatever that was. Not life, but somethin’ else.

I ain’t no fancy fortune teller, but I know this: life ain’t just black and white. It ain’t just yes and no. There’s always more to the story. Maybe this Devil card, this flipped-over “no,” is just askin’ you to look a little closer. To see what’s really holdin’ you back. Maybe it’s time to break free, ya know?

Like that story, maybe perfection ain’t all it’s cracked up to be. Maybe you gotta have some dirt to grow somethin’ beautiful. Maybe you gotta have some “no’s” to appreciate the “yes’s.”

So, the Devil reversed? Yeah, maybe it’s a “no.” But maybe, just maybe, it’s the “no” you need to hear. Maybe it’s the “no” that pushes you to find a better “yes.” Don’t just take it at face value. Think about it. What’s it really tryin’ to tell you?

Life’s complicated. Tarot cards are complicated. Don’t let anyone tell you different. Just gotta listen, real close, and figure out what’s right for you. ‘Cause in the end, it’s your story, not theirs.
